My name is Abigail; I’m a bonus mom and struggle with primary infertility. (Never conceived before)  Accepting my brokenness seemed long, but I had an operation to remove my fibroids through a robotic myomectomy. The procedure eliminates the fibroids while preserving the uterus for future conception.

I began receiving fertility treatments six months after surgery, trying to conceive through IUI. My doctor started me on Clomid in February 2020, and my body responded well. He reported my fallopian tubes were open, and my uterus lining was clear with no obstacles. I had a regular cycle and ovulated until Covid-19 happened, and further treatments halted.

After Covid, I was diagnosed with diminishing ovarian reserve; the news devastated me. I heard about the embryo donation program, and it’s been a great answer to my prayers. Please help me give a frozen embryo a chance to live the life it was meant to and help me achieve my dream of becoming a first-time mother.

I believe there’s an infant or two in my future to raise, and I must fight for them by keeping hope alive. I have seen them in my dreams more than I can count; my baby/babies have already chosen me, and I will not let them down.
